In late May 2026, I’ll embark on my first real vacation in over a decade—a dream trip to Europe, centered around the inaugural spring session of Camp Château in France. If you haven’t heard of Camp Château, it’s a magical retreat for women, hosted in a stunning château nestled in the French countryside. It gained viral fame on TikTok last year, and due to the unexpected demand, not only did all of 2025 sell out immediately, but they’ve also expanded beyond summer sessions to include spring and autumn. I’m thrilled to be part of this exciting new chapter!
After months on the waitlist, the booking day finally arrived. I sat down a few minutes before the site went live, ready to secure my spot. Within moments, I had claimed my reservation, confirmed it via email, and then—just minutes later—all of 2026 was completely sold out. Honestly, I almost started to cry when I realized this was actually going to happen. This long-awaited trip was no longer just a dream—it was a reality.
Although I didn’t know when I would be able to book my spot, I’ve spent months in Paris and French travel groups online, learning everything I could to prepare and budget. Now that I’ve secured my place, I’m excited to share everything I’ve learned over the next 18 months as I continue planning for this dream trip.
For me, planning is half the fun. I’ve been diving deep into all things France—refining my itinerary for Figeac, Toulouse, and Paris—and channeling my excitement into creating a collection of French-inspired products. These will be perfect to share with my fellow campers at Camp Château and will also be available on my Etsy and Shopify stores.
A Personal Milestone
This trip represents more than just a getaway—it’s a milestone. It’s my first time in Europe and my first real vacation in years. As a full-time caregiver, finding time for myself has been a challenge, and this opportunity feels like a celebration of everything I’ve worked toward.
As I count down the days, I’m beyond excited to share this journey with you. Stay tuned for updates as I continue planning and glimpses of the creative process behind my French-inspired product line.
