From 30 Days to 100 Days—And What’s Next

From 30 Days to 100 Days—And What’s Next

Days in Wool& 269

Last fall, I completed a 30-day dress challenge, and honestly, I could’ve kept going. Wearing the same dress every day simplified so much—getting dressed was easy, laundry was minimal, and I never had to think twice about what to wear.

Inspired by a previous Wool& 10x10 challenge, I decided to do a few of my own back to back while continuing to refine my closet. Then, I decided to get a new dress and take on the 100-day dress challenge.

Now that I’ve finished my 100-day challenge, I can confidently say this experience has completely changed the way I think about clothing. Having a simple, high-quality wardrobe has made life easier, especially as a full-time caregiver. No more decision fatigue, no more cluttered closet—just pieces I love and actually wear.

What’s Next?

The challenges aren’t over yet! Wool& is currently doing a 9x9 capsule challenge (wearing 9 items for 9 days), and I’ve decided to start that as soon as I finish my 100 days. After that, in April, I’ll be doing another 30-day dress challenge for 2025—a nice reset as I continue refining my wardrobe.

If there’s one thing I’ve learned from all of this, it’s that less really is more. Having a few versatile, high-quality pieces works better for me than a packed closet of things I don’t wear. And with my trip to France coming up, keeping my wardrobe streamlined feels even more important—11 days in France with just a carry-on.
