NATIONAL CAREGIVER MONTH RESOURCES

NATIONAL CAREGIVER MONTH RESOURCES

November is National Family Caregivers Month, and before the month ends, I wanted to share that it is a time meant to acknowledge the realities of caregiving and the people who carry that work every day. For many of us, it’s not about awareness or recognition; it’s about endurance, small wins, and the systems we build to keep life moving.

This year, I’ve been working on a few new ways to make that load a little lighter. I’ve created a Caregiver Corner Pinterest board with tools, planners, and ideas for everyday use, as well as related current event Substack articles.

I’m also offering a free 50-page tear-away notepad for all Finding Peace in the Chaos readers through the end of December. If you’ve already purchased the e-book, you’re welcome to claim one too — just reply with your mailing address on the group email, or let me know if you’d like it sent as a gift to another caregiver.

Public conversations around caregiving have become more visible — not because the challenges are new, but because more people are speaking honestly about them. One example is Emma Heming Willis, who has used her platform to bring attention to the realities of caregiving and the importance of supporting caregivers as whole people. Her openness has helped normalize the emotional and logistical weight of this role and highlight why visibility matters.

Caregiving doesn’t stop because the calendar turns. It’s constant — a mix of routines, unexpected changes, and the quiet, ongoing responsibility to keep things together. That’s why this month matters: not as a celebration, but as a reminder that what you do counts, and that it’s okay to look for ways to make it easier.
